The Barbers wanted a way to effectively and efficiently reach local customers near a target location in order to drive more in-store foot traffic and earn new customers
Locally targeted offer delivery with social ads
We delivered locally targeted Facebook and Instagram campaigns to prospective customers living within a 3-mile radius of the target location.
That local audience was then further segmented into The Barber's three core customer groups - adult men, seniors, and parents (for kids cuts), allowing us to tailor the creative and copy of the ads to each segment segment, resulting in a higher level of relevance and engagement.
The campaigns featured a promotional offer to encourage visits to The Barbers during the promotional period. The offers were delivered via an automated Facebook Messenger bot, and featured coupon codes integrated with The Barber's in-store POS system to allow for the tracking of in-store redemptions.
The Barbers Exceeded Their Growth Goals
The campaigns saw immediate success, generating more than 500 offer claims in the first two weeks. By claiming the offer, users were subscribed to The Barber's Facebook Messenger account, where we were able to deliver a sequence of offer redemption reminders - resulting in an outstanding 55% in-store redemption rate.
